What is your point view on Rwandan Constitution in one of its articles which states that the Rwandan genocide started on 1st October 1990?
Answer by Theogene Rudasingwa:
While there had been serious human rights abuses over several decades, I do not agree that genocide began on 1st October1990. There were serious human rights violations in Bigogwe, Kibilira, Bugesera, etc… targeting Tutsi. On the RPF side there were equally serious human rights abuses targeting Hutu in areas controlled by the rebel RPF. Kagame and RPF would not wish the latter to be investigated and perpetrators brought to account, and the international community leans biased towards Kagame’s manipulations.
It may take time, but one day Kagame and those he has corrupted into these crimes will have their day in court. It all depends on us Rwandans, how far we are willing to struggle for justice for everyone?

Rudasingwa is right. It is a matter of time. All criminals will face justice.
Given his CV, Ridasingwa is knowledgeable and has experience. Although he seems fighting to protect RPF actions during that famous war (1990/1994), he tells the truth the most of time. One day, all killers should be tried!

I must agree that despite the eventuality of his personal implication in the preparation and unfolding of the tragedy that plunged on innocent Rwandan Sons and Daughter, Major Rudasingwa (Not Major General because his otherwise hero Kagame would not probably let him be) is currently telling some truth. He however, like his fellow party co-founders (especially Joseph Sebarenzi) tends to defend the ideology that people are not equal when it comes to Tutsi VS Hutu in Rwanda. If you read the essay from Joseph Sebarenzi ( That ignorant people otherwise would support for his deceptive neutrality), you would still see what face these emerging politicians are showing. When Rudasingwa talks about victims, he introduces Rwigema and he tends to parallels him with Seth Sendashonga. If both were killed by the RPF does he believe the ethnicity would be a similar cause of death for both? Anyway,if Kagame and Rudasingwa were disputing the authorship for the starting point in reconciling Rwandans, Kagame would loose for his rudeness and intransigence but Rudasingwa’s credibility would not pass the test for the first round. Was he the General Secretary of RPF? And if so, what account does he render for the party or, is he otherwise renovating the same party? Should he call us to join a redeemed RPF instead?
